How do I onboard my device?

  1. Connect to FH-BYOD, open your browser, and navigate to any website.

  2. You will be prompted to complete an onboarding wizard to verify your Forest Hills network credentials.

    • If your device has been connected in the past and you need to re-onboard again, iOS and Chrome devices can save time by removing the existing profile first. See videos below!

  3. Follow the onscreen instructions to finish the process and apply the wireless settings to your device.

  4. Once complete, you will then be appropriately connected to FH-Wifi.

    • iOS devices must now choose the FH-Wifi network

  5. Important! Tell your device to "forget" the FH-BYOD network in your wireless settings.

  6. Anytime you need to reconnect in the future, you will simply select the FH-Wifi network.

Note:

During the onboarding process, certificates are placed on the device which are only used to identify you while you are on FHPS wireless networks. No monitoring occurs outside of the district networks.
